I developed this introduction to the sport of curling for true beginners. It includes the history of the sport, rules, game play, strategy, and modern curling culture. The project contains humorous anecdotes and media clips to engage the learner and make curling come to life.

People new to the sport of curling who are interested in visiting a curling club and possibly joining a league.

The Problem
Curling clubs have an influx of new people attend open houses at the beginning of every curling season. This is especially true during winter Olympic years when the sport gains media attention. The curling club needed an efficient way to teach potential new members about the sport in a way that's understandable and relatable to the average person who has likely never played before.
The Solution
Articulate Rise provides a simple and accessible approach to learning, in a format that is easily experienced on both desktop and mobile devices. The project covers a wide array of topics necessary for any potential new curler, without getting bogged down by unnecessary details.
